At the moment i got a 2 door subaru impreza type r running 380 bhp but fancy a change my 1st thought was a s2k or 350z but iv eventually made my mind up with s2k.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to be a "nasty moderator" , but please have a read of the "Read This First" sticky, especially the part about not using text speak https://www.s2ki.com/...ead-this-first/ Thanks.
Quite a few ex Scooby owners here, the S2000 is very different, and I guess you'll either love it or hate it.
Have you driven one yet?

My last car before the S was a bugeye WRX, and the S beats in in all respects IMO. Although the Scooby was fast I always found it uninvolving and got quite bored of throwing it into any corner and coming out the other side without any drama. The S is much more of a drivers car, it takes skill to drive it well and always puts a grin on your face when you give it the beans. Great fun on the track too.

both different drives, I have had 2 Imprezas
if you drive the S2000 like a scoob you will lose it in no time
once you get used to the gears you will get a buzz off it on the right roads
you might want to get more bhp out of it tho, I find it okay but miss the early kick in the back

hi lovegroover where did i use text speak lol.what s2k rather than s2000?
No i have not driven one yet only other vtec iv driven is a dc5 that my mate owns.I do really have to try one out.
Il have to to be carefull then i had a skyline last year that was pretty bad for the rear end but my subaru aint much better as my subaru is the type r it has dccd that u control how much power goes to front and back . i leave it mostly back.
How easy and how much money to get more power out of the s2000? I here its a very well tuned machine already so cant squeeze much more out?
cheers guys

Hi sonic93, I think LG was talking about the 'iv' bit. To get a lot more power you would probably have to go through the forced induction route! Because as you say, it is already a fairly highly tuned motor as standard.
