Default Hey Mister..........That's a Wicked........

BM !!!!...........

I was at a mates house yesterday when the 2 kids that live next door were in the front drive when I pulled up........."Hey mister......that's a nice BM" !!!

Had to then politely correct their silly, silly childish mistake as the parents were close by also !!!

When looking at the picture of my baby on my desk - my Project manager thought it was a BMW M3 FFS.

I informed him he should stick to Project management - after educating him for approx 30 mins about the car.

Had a bloke in a petrol station last summer say - 'nice TVR, is that the new model?' even though you could visibly see the Honda badge, and S2000 plate

I've had experiences of the great mentally-unwashed thinking my car is something else at which point I feel the need to educate them.

Odd isn't it? We get a car people mistake for another respected marque e.g. BMW and TVR and feel the need to correct them. Nothing wrong there.

Then they seem surprised that Honda do sports cars!!!!!

Honda is in frigging F1 FCOL

The transport manager at one of our offices told me it looks like a Z3!!!

I reminded him that the only similarities between them are that they both have 4 wheels, 2 seats and a folding roof!

I've had both the TVR (old bloke) and BMW Z3 (Plod) comments.

What really screws people up are the Rick's 'S' badges.

No reference to Honda on the cars normally draws the comments of "That's a really nice car....what is it ?"

You cannot therefore be pigeon holed as a rich tosser (BMW) or a hairdresser (Z3)
