Default Help with Whiteline X brace please

I'm fitting the Muz Whiteline brace that I got on the group buy about 2 years ago !

This may be a long shot but can anyone remember where the different washers go.

There is an allan bolt, a large flat washer and a smaller sprung washer.

I'm gonna pm Muz but if anyone can remember, Craig ? StevenM ?

Cheers

IIRC The washer goes on first, the bolt is then threaded between the bar and the bracket and the sprung washer is put on with the nut.

Normally the spring washer goes between the nut and the flat washer. The flat washer protects the surface you are bolting down to and spreads the load.

Too much snow here for testing the brace today but the kitchen is much better.

Its a bit lower down than that mate.

I'm only 8 miles north of Liverpool. Near Southport if that helps.

It's starting to rain on the snow so I might give it a go soon.

I'm expecting big things cos a guy in the States said it tranformed the way the car reversed out of his drive even !

If the stiffness is noticeable at 3mph in reverse then either this is a mighty product or the placebo effect is alive and well in the US.

Just curious I am moving to that neck of the woods, considering a place in Parbold at the minute and wondered what the back road where like!

I noticed the differrence though not in reverse!
