Default Help please (Pic Request)

Hi guys,

Im hoping someone can help, my s2k has an ipod lead attached to the OEM head unit, that i am going to be changing shortly. When they fitted it they removed one of the 'buttons' on the center console (near the heated window one).

I'm going to fix this bodge, so wondered if someone can tell me / provide a pic of the offendinmg area, so i can see what should be in there, it looks rubbish woith a hole!

Thanks

Adrian

Right on your picture...

Behind the pop up tray where the hole is, i have a heated window button and a hole... Should this be a blanking plate?

Anyone with a pre facelift but glass window can confirm? Anbd possibly a pic. Thanks though

That's interesting!

I have an MY02, and where the coin holder is (as in above link) I have two buttons. On the N/S is the rear screen demist button, and on the O/S is a rectangular blanking plate. As you mention the demist button it sounds like your centre console is the same as mine.

These buttons are not on an inserted panel, as the console moulding is made to take them directly. i.e. they are not fitted over a coin holder!
