I would put money on the slider grease. I have owned two honda's now and they have both suffered sticky sliders. Even when i grease mine when i next go to check my brake pads i normally find the sliders are abit sticky.

At least the S2000 caliper has flats on the slider so if its seized you can put a spanner on it and work it back and forth until it becomes free.

Thanks! Will have a look in the morning. Gotta get it fixed as I'm driving back to Bristol on Monday.

Tell tale sign of stick caliper slider is a discoloured brake disc visable through the wheels and also you will find that the brake pad on the outside (ie the one not next to the caliper piston) will have used alot more brake pad material.

This was my passenger side front after the sliders seized

The brake pad can be seen here, mine only seized for a couple of minutes until i stamped on the pedal and it freed off,

Yep 100% seized caliper, seen too many and is a very common thing on S2000. Both front and rear will seized sooner or later.

It wouldn't be a great Honda ownership without a few caliper rebuilds

Um ok new issue. Taken the caliper off, sliders are free and fine. So we're trying to bleed the brakes to move the piston, came out fine but now it won't go back in...

...any suggestions?

Don't need to bleed.

Top off the resevoir

G clamp either side of the piston and caliper and turn the g clamp to push the piston in.

I've also used an oil filter tool, the ones that are like large pliers to squeeze the piston back in using a piece of wood or something similar to prevent scratching the top of the piston.
