I met Rolf once and appeared next to him on a live show in 1974, with the Brotherhood of Man.

Now that sensor - can you tell what it is yet?

There is, it's a tiny metal gause (sp) filter. Mine was full of metal flakes after i toasted my engine.

The Comptech kit adds another filter in the same location as this is where the oil take off point is.

Here is a pic of one from a B16 :



To give you a clue on size, it's about 2cm x 1cm for the metal part.

Ben, have you any idea if i can replace just the switch i broke? it has a HEX on the other end of it?

Or it is a simply 10min job to replace the whole vtec solenoid unit?

Looked in workshop manual doesnt tell me alot only the whole module.
