We both went for a test drive on a 2004 one a few months ago..that was a hoot...She liked the drive too and came back with a big smile on her face....But then it comes back down to the lump of money to get one...
Probably looking for an 02 or newer (want the glass rear screen)...and wouldn't mind a GT.
So prolly around 16-18k ish.....so the total cost of change would be around 12-14k once I sell my car. She looks at the 12-14k and thinks of all the other things she can get with the money...like holidays or put it towards a bigger house etc.
The dealers really annoy me though..I have been to a few now and they never seem to take me seriously, don't have time and look down at you..whether its because I am 25 so don't think I can afford one or something.... If I get one I'll prolly get it off the boards here.

We both have good jobs so its not a stretch as such.
It will be a joint decision using joint money and couldn't buy one without her consent..life wouldn't be worth living!
I considered a caterham but its even less practical...wan't it remotely practical for weekend aways etc.
I couldn't threaten to buy a Subaru..she'd know I was lying...
The bathroom is current a shade of grey with patches of yellow....Took all the tiles off yesterday so just the plaster showing ....I think the final colur will be a light green/bluey colour.
So if anyone wants to lend me there S for a bit to convince her..give me a shout
