All day long that is a tensioner on its VERY last days.
Put a long screwdriver on it and you ear on the end (passes vibes thought the s/driver to your ear) I bet you will be convinced that it
is totally f.ed.

Hi guys, thanks for you input .
Its due for a service this month on the 16th, 6 month previous to this i had the valve clearanced checked and adjusted by honda carlisle.
Ill probably get a pre chain tensioner, and let Honda have a look at the valve clearances.
BTW as i have previously noted i have hit the 100K mark. A week ago i got a CEL, misfire on cyclinder 2, hasnt returned though?!
Maybe get honda to check injectors too?
Cheers

Tensioner noise post
Compare this to your noise.^
By the way adjusting the valve clearances is best NOT left to a Honda
dealer, they dont allow enough time to do it properly.
If an inlet valve has a gap of between .008" to .0010" the Honda tech
will shove his guage in and if it slides in nicely he will leave it. But it
really needs to be set to .008" and that takes time and patience. (I've
done it three times)
