Thanks for all the replies, much appriciated.

Funny enough I was think of the very same quote from pulp fiction earlier!!

Thanks for the comments on Reading Honda's bodyshop people, they do my servicing at the moment so may well get them to do it.

Three panels have scratches going across them.

Shit news hope you get it sorted soon.

For future reference, whenever I go into Kingston, I stick the car in the Cattle Market car park (near the bus depot).

Never had any problems, and it's not really a pedestrian "short-cut" so you don't usually get unruly elements in there.

Bad news. Hope you get this sorted.

Any chance of a CCTV covering your car at the time?

Sorry to hear what some no-brain git has done to your car. Some low-life broke my window (not on my S) for no other reason than for a laugh. Didn't steal a thing, not even a chunky kit-kat in the glove box.

Try chipsaway - they are franshised from the US, and I used to local team in Wellingborough. I think they charge about 50-60 quid + VAT per panel, but it all depends how deep the scratch is I suppose. From what I understand, Chipsaway developed a technique to paint only the scratched parts. The other operators will use the same techiques, but obviously I can't vouch for how good they will be. They guys I used were good - they gave me a life home, did the work in a day, the delivered the S back to me, and I can't even notice where they did the small repairs. I would guess if they can match Nurb Blue then they can match any colour.

Search for your local guy on the link below or call them on 0800 028 7878.

I am thinking of using them to remove a door ding, also done by some no-mark, this time in a car park. Needless to say, I don't have anything to do with the organisation, apart from being a satisfied customer.

Good luck, Wyatt.
