Help - Drivetrain problems
Has anyone experienced a clunking noise when pressing and releasing clutch. Only happens when in gear (reverse also) and is most noticeable at idle speed or rolling in traffic (while still pressing/releasing clutch) . Appears to be coming from clutch /gearbox area. Noise been there from new, car only done 1100 miles. If apply hand brake and do same there is no noise?
Also noticeable grr when clutch pedal nearly fully released while going through the gears..
One honda dealer says "Characteristic of car" another is going to change clutch? I do not think it is the clutch!!
Any helpers..

I 've never had any odd sounds from those areas - I would get it to the dealer asap and demand they sort it. It is certainly not a "characteristic".
I presume it's still under warranty - which is your dealer (some are better than others).

A numer of folk on the forum use Hyndland and they are very happy (AFAIK) with them - the fact that they are offering to do something, unlike St Andrews who sound like they are trying to fob you off, probably tells its own story
