Help - car won't start!
Hi all
Well for the first time in 5 years my car won't start and I need some help prior to calling for recovery.
I went out last night and covered 60 miles or so and got home fine. Just gone out to crank her up and nothing, battery is a few months old and appears to be charged
Alarm off and green key disappears ok but hit the start button and nothing, I think I hear the fuel pump as I'm pressing and can hear the relay click. If it was the battery I would hear a clickety click of the starter but nothing is coming from it. Any ideas or fuses to check as all was very well last night???

Does sound like a flat battery to me, do your headlights come on bright ? if so then battery is probably ok, if they come on dim or not at all then flat battery is probably the cause.

Sounds like an immobiliser issue that Foster had on his old S, despite the dash light. Find the immobiliser, whack it with a mallet and try starting her - one of the relays has probably failed.

All fuses and relays are ok
Called the RAC out and it turned out to be the spade connector on top of the starter, it had worked loose. He was about to call in a low loader as he couldn't reach it but I intervened with my girly hands and managed to squeeze it under the inlet manifold to reach it
All fixed and running again. Thanks for the input guys
