Thanks for all your help guys! I guess the general consensus is get a professional to look at it! I'd like to take it to TGM but thats 60miles away and I'm worried about causing further damage, poss to diff?, if I drive it anymore. Portsmouth are my local dealer, anyone had dealings with them at all or know of any decent specialists local to portsmouth/southampton who are good with S2000's?

Do NOT take it to Portsmouth Honda!!!
I would take it to either DoctorMX5: http://doctormx5.com/
or
Autolink UK Ltd: http://www.autolinkmx5.com/.
Both are actually MX5 specialists, but both have knowledge and experience of the S2000, and really know their stuff
They will also get the alignment sorted out at Denmead Tyres, who I have used with good success

Get it done at TGM you won't damage it driving 60 miles just wear your tyres possibly. Tom will be able to look at it tell you what's up and sort it quickly at a reasonable price.
I'm leaving mine there this week for the suspension bushs to be done and a geo.
