Hey guys and girls
Have ordered tha engine, is on its way, The delaers are checking the VIN but I bought it anyway. Fingers crossed and no more Honda warranties for me will be taking my car to barwell to look after from now on assuming I can convince the other half that It makes more sense to hang onto it.
AE I got the engine from Silverlake Garage they are a salvage type org very reasonable, provided chassis and engine numbers without issue or argument.
P.S.
There is an engine for sale on EBAY, the seller told me that the engine has no ID no.? Bit dubious to say the least. He has posted pics of a silver crash damaged S, and is in the Birmingham area. I dont for one second doubt his credibility but just wondered if anyones S had gone missing recently?

Ron, if you don't mand me asking (PM me if you like) how much was the engine?
Thinking of my next racecar project being vtec powered and under 2.0 litres to qualify for several different classes and I'd be interested in knowing how much an S2000 powerplant would be.

Yup, Ade - Howard, one of the salesmen, mentioned it to Rog (Tomcat) when he went in to collect his 04 at the start of the month.
I hope the thieves didn't try driving it too hard - the handling might have been a bit of a surprise to them, if they did!
