Default Hello from newbie!

Just wanted to say hello to the forum. Hoping to join the ownership ranks very shortly.

Off to see Colin's car at the weekend - assuming of course it doesn't rain... Still not convinced he'll actually sell it!! I haven't told him yet that it would be my daily drive and left outside on the driveway to face the elements. Not sure he could cope!

Better get the embarrassing part out the way early - it'll only come back to haunt me later. Currently drive a Saxo VTR, which I've owned for the last 8 years (I'm not a chav BTW!). Long overdue for a major change. I was originally planning to get a VX220 but didn't think I could face the daily humilation of falling in/out the door...Also my girlfriend said that I looked like Gizmo (from the film Gremlins) when I was sat in it...I had a different image in mind

Anyway hope to be able to get some good advice from you all. And, yes I do know about the search function!

Cheers
Steve

Cheers Mikey

Probably not the best plan to mention it before seeing Col. He'll probably pretend to be out now! I'm working on the law of averages, its had such a gentle start to life that it needs a owner with a full garage to fulfil its potential! Either that or it'll dissolve on the drive...
