Hello - it's been a while....
Hello All
I used to frequent this lovely place more than a few years ago and spent many hours learning and maybe helping others in the process. I recall my contemporaries were LeggyBlonde (and she was!), Rob, AE and more!
The thing is, I sold my S2000 when things were financially tight (moved house) and went from that a Mini One D (yes really).
Traded the Mini in last year for a new BMW 320D (yawn) but I can't shift the S2000 itch....I never sold the reg

According to the information given at a visit to the Honda Institute last year, there is a "roadmap" for the S2000 to 2009. I'm not sure whether that was the actual cut-off date for production or them saying it would be around until at least then.
I had an 02 and then one of the early 04s. It's subtley rather than vastly different. It's a bit "softer" than the earlier cars, and probably a little more so still with the 06, but still recognisably an S2000. Even if it lacks a little of the raw edge of the earlier models, I still preferred the 04, all things considered.
It's a personal thing though - you'd need to test one for yourself and form your own view.

Hallo Johnny
Blimey..it has been some time, you moved from Billingshurst then....but to Dorset...Top Man
All I can say is I still have my JDM 2000 S and its a belter
The general concensus is that the later you go...the softer the car
Good to see you back

5 years nearly !! Its been a peach thanks
I know the Gatwick sprint well .......
I'm envious of Dorset, we're planning to move there in the future as we spend a lot of the summer at Burton Bradstock and Lyme.
You'd have great use for an S on some of those roads late at night
