I was thinking along the same lines..since essentially it is a plug and play job...perhaps should keep the OEM one under the seat

Honda openly sell Mugen parts in the dealership...and fit them too, and are happy to take the profit margin from these pieces. They never once discussed about compromising the warranty. The only thing they have pulled a bit of a face over was the spark plugs...because of the spark plug recall they were worried that non-Honda approved one would come unscrewed.

Ron good to hear from you and get an update on your car. sorry it is not resolved yet, but keep using all the advice and help that may come from here, you never know, good things sometimes happen with a little help from your friends.

Oh and if your selling the stuff, put a post on the For Sale Forum, I'm sure most of it will get snapped up fairly quickly.

Guys

Thanks for all the support, I will get back to you all in turn if I need your help. I do miss my S driving to work and back in a BMW 530D now which is nice but very normal but Honda have lost a customer for life as far as Im concerned so however nice is S is or will be in the future, Ill not be driving one.

well not really....once my car passed the 3yr mark I have accepted that if it goes pop it will be down to me to sort.......Barwell are close to me and I've considered some Spoon tuning before now....
