Hello from another new owner (pics added)
Hi,
Picked up a 2008 model last week with 26k on the clock. I'm over the moon with it; it's Silverstone with anthracite Rota alloys on it. To be honest when I saw the car on the Springfield Honda website the wheels put me off as it was not standard. However as the garage is five minutes from work I went and had a look. Once I saw it I fell in love with them. The car has a few other additions such as full Ipod connectivity and a Parrot hands free kit installed as well as a strut brace.
We spent all last weekend around the north Yorkshire moors, Whitby, etc with the top down and the sun shining and some great roads.
One question I have is that Honda seemed to have been a bit on the tight side with the under seal. I was cleaning the rear wheels and noticed that the inner wheel arches are done but seems to taper off toward the bottom of the car. Does Honda use a clear under seal for the bottom of the car? I seem to remember my Integra Type R being the same.

Hello Mark,
Welcome! I too was blasting around the North York Moors on the Sunday…although I did head indoors for the rugby. I then travelled back towards York (where I live) and stopped off at the Yorkshire Gliders Club at Kilburn. Roof down, sun beaming and nothing but the engine for music – perfect!

Pics or Ban!
As for the wheels - your first insincts were quite correct, they're a terrible wheel, known for being structurally weak AND quick to corrode. Due to you being a new member, and in the spirit of community, I'm willing to take them off your hands. I'll even soften what I know must be a shock by giving you a few quid.
