I spoke to Quaife at the Autosport show on Sat about the oil type and capacity. They informed me that if I fill the oil to the filler hole level then there is too much oil in the box and it blows it out.I asked him how I was to know how much oil to put into it, he told me around 1.7 litres.I then mentioned for the second time that mine is a 69 series box and was told that the oil capacity was different but didn't tell me anymore.

I walked away none the wiser....... So If I fill it to unknown capacity does that mean it will spray out all over the bottom of my car and more importantly all over the road? He suggested putting a tube and an expansion tank onto my gearbox, I haven't got room for a cigarette paper in my engine bay, so where the feck will I fit an expansion tank?

They are used a lot on WRC cars, particularly Impreza.

When you say 'better' I think it gets to a point where certain ECUs are overkill for a lot of cars unless you want a lot of extras like anti lag, launch control, switchable maps, logging, and other variable functions.

Ps will post that thing Sat!

Anything with a Cossy engine used Pectel. All the Rallycross boys certainly did!

They did, and the car is at the same place who built, mapped and ran the car for Redbrick right now....
