HEL Performance 2012 Time Attack Build
#946
Cool, getting closer. I've got questions.
Which throttle body are you using?
Is water injection allowed in time attack? (I already saw no methanol injection)
Any clues on the additional crank pulley yet?

Throttle body is a modded J's Racing one.
I think water injection is ok for TA, but not considering it just yet. Just wanting to get it finished and on the dyno first, see how she runs. Get it out testing and then the data collection can begin and development will follow accordingly.
Not sure on the pulley, one for TTS I think. I'll get Darren to visit the thread and see if he can explain.

Yep tell me about it! Unfortunately we havent made it out this season but the plan all along with this project was not to rush it. It'll be done when its done and we'll have had some testing under our belt before its first outing. Experience has taught us not to rush the last part of the build as its those critical last few bits that can slap you in the face at a later date if not done properly!
Currently we are being held back finishing the wiring by a few switches which are out of stock with suppliers typically, and we are also making a few tools to allow us to play with the geometry at the track. Also got a few strengthening jobs to do on the rear spoiler and a few other bits to do but other than that it'll be off to Tracktive Solutions in Leicestershire for mapping before the end of the month (well thats the plan!)
We made this to measure droop/bump steer adjustment for example last week -
