It was all set to be going to WTA in Oz in August, we were offered space in a container going there with a UK car we sponsor. Shame it's not going to be ready (plus it didn't work with the UK TA dates as it takes 6 wks to get there and back by sea) but maybe in the future.

Oh and yes, you can run meth and NOS....next years plans do include one of those plus a few other tweaks.

Best get version 1 finished and working properly first though!!!!!!

Are you allowed Nos/methanol? Maybe a small afterburner?

I hope you run this next year. Let us all know the dates, I'd be happy to attend and spectate the events.

Well a few more bits to tell in the HEL Performance S2000 story tonight.

Following a meeting with team technician Adam @ MADA Racing this morning, it has been decided the first outing for the car will be at the Time Attack rounds at Anglesey on 11th and 12th August. Too much to do to achieve the earlier round at Brands Hatch, so a plan has now been put in place to ensure all the jobs that need doing are done before Anglesey.

Some of todays work.....rear end cut out further to allow fitment of the fuel tank - we want it as low as possible for weight distribution purposes of course.

Makes me feel like my S is a POS.

Good effort, there really has been an amazing amount of work done!

What about polar moment changes (lateral and vertical) since it is outside the wheelbase? I'd have put it where the fire extinguisher/batter is and stuck battery/extinguisher in passenger well to offset driver.

And wouldn't you want the fuel tank a bit more protected from impact?

You beat me to it......I'm away oh business right now but on my return will post pictures of the now fitted carbon fuel cell cover and reasoning behind it's position at the back rather than in the middle of the car.

the brake calipers must be very small to fit inside wheels that small. My standard car has 17" wheels and calipers and there's not much room. I thought race cars fit bigger brakes!
