I don't mean to be bad but what happens when the brakes heat up and the metal expands?
or when the wheels flex under load

Been assured by 'the horses mouth' if you like that all will be fine with the clearance, as scary as it looks. A £4500 replacement kit is on the line with that assurance so I'm happy with that.

Had the graphics guys in taking measurements this week, and now we are just waiting on TTS finishing the engine so we can get on with the mechanical build. In the meantime we'll be busy putting in the airjack lines and brake lines in the next few weeks.

Also imminently expecting the flocked dash and custom made Corbeau seats back to fit too...

Will be back with updates very soon.

Was the horse Rota or AP?

FWIW and IIRC Brembo recommend 2 mm of clearance.

It wasnt Rota put it that way There is 2mm (just ) so we should be ok but thought best to check we'd got the back up of the supplier first...

Giving 2360cc with an 8k rev limit.

ACL bearings.

Standard head with standard F20 cams and valve springs.

With the lower rev limit there is no need to go for an exotic valve train.
