HEL Performance 2012 Time Attack Build
#581
A few pictures from the few hours work put in at the weekend by our sprayer. He came and began lining all the panels up and preparing the rear quarter for bonding the new one on. In terms of panel alignment, you start with the doors and work from there. The Seibon doors seem to line up just fine on first inspection, not a massive concern with it being a solely track based car but nice to have it looking right from the offset anyway.

I soooo love this thread!!
It seems a shame to paint over all that gorgeous carbon. Saw the recent write up on this build in Honda magazine the other day, really interesting.
You say you're going to melton for the ecu mapping? you quite local to me then? I live in Uppingham (just south of Oakham and melton). Would love to come a nd visit the car when its finished!!

Thanks for your comments, yes I agree re painting the carbon but not doing it would make the graphics look naff so needs must on this occasion.
We as a company are based in Devon but I grew up in Leics and we support a race team who use a very skilled garage in Melton Mowbray called Tracktive Solutions. Ex-Motec and Toyota WRC technician, the car will be in safe hands getting the wiring and mapping/dyno'ing done there later this year.
