Looking good.

I had the 4 pot 328mm set on the front of my 319bhp EP3.

Was more than impressed with them, I can only assume the above combination will be on par with hitting a concrete wall if you stamp on the stop pedal.

Front wings fit a treat and line up perfectly with the bonnet....very impressed with the quality of this kit (from Showoff Imports in Holland if anyone wonders). Apologies for the poor pictures, some nice shiny clean pictures will follow when we finally get some paint on this thing....

The start of the rear quarter outer skin removal.....the body kit will cover all of this and enough 'meat' has been left round the outside to cover bonding the bodykit reat quarter to the car....

Good old Ronald from Showoff Imports, I've known him since he was still selling stuff out of his parents garage

Car is looking brilliant!

Oh and surely you're not supposed to weigh the scale's display with each lot you weigh

Yes Ronald is a top bloke!

We know what the scale display weighs and without putting it in view you wouldnt see the total, which is only 100g less without it on.

Sprayer is now booked and car will go into the paint booth in 6 weeks time. In the meantime the sprayer is going to begin the prep work, lining all the panels up and bonding the rear quarters to the car.

This will give us another 6 weeks to get all fixings in place and mount anything we need to before any paint goes on. We removed the bag tank from the fuel cell today as pictured below. We're going to send the cell off for powder coating but first are going to bolt some angle to the sides to allow us to mount the tank in the hole we've cut in the boot.

Also fitted the hinges to the carbon doors and fitted those. Again the fitment is perfect, testament to buying good quality carbon panels I think. So much better than some of the cheaper stuff I've seen where none of the lines match up and catch other panels in the process.

The door itself was surprisingly heavier than we thought it was going to be, so we today began removing the inner skin which wont be needed. All we need to do here is fit some sort of pull cord for the driver to pull to open the door from the inside. Still undecided on windows as well. Will most likely go down the route of getting some lexan versions with sliders.

Just the main centre section of the inner door skin pictured below weighed just under 2kg. Thats another 4kg off the weight of the car just from that. Just a little painful cutting up over £1500 worth of carbon doors 2 mins after taking them out the box!!
