Expecting the bodykit to arrive the 2nd week of April so just need the doors to arrive now and we'll be fit for wheeling the shell into our paint booth

In the meantime the AP pedal box should be here this week as well so we can get that mounted and work out what seat to squeeze in....

I'm confused with the choice of those two parts.

Why fit run of the mill Ohlins DFV, to what was looking to be such a high end build?

As for Siebon, I can only assume that some kind sponsorship deal made you fit knock-off parts.....

If you buy it as Seibon, it comes packed as Seibon and is fitted as a Seibon - how can it be 'knockoff'?

I tend to agree on the Ohlins, unless they are / are going to be custom valved & springed, as I don't think they will be firm enough for a pure race car.

*shrugs*

it's going to get destroyed on a race track .. only an idiot would fit a part 3 times the price and the same weight in that environment unless Mugen were offering sponsorship.

Everyone copies stuff - so what - you pays your money and you takes your choice, if you want to have Mugen then pay for Mugen and advertise it accordingly - either way Seibon is a legitimate business and HEL are a paid and registered Trader.

If function was all that was important, the OEM bonnet could have been vented.

Plus the OEM bonnet would have been lighter....

Did you know that Mugen especially make parts designed and priced for race applications?

Chris.
