Is the HT going to removable, or are you going to secure it to the windscreen frame and rear deck permanently? Sure it would add more rigidity

if the hardtop is removable would event organizers get funny caus you could loose alot of weight really easily?

I think that aerodynamics would be severely affected though. I would have thought it would be beneicial to keep the hardtop on over losing it and gaining drag from air resistance???

hardtop will be removable, but it will be securely bolted to the cage with custom brackets. as said above, aerodynamics would be effected if the car was run without the hardtop. i think hel mentioned they may possibly think about changing the hardtop for a carbon or lightweight one in the future, which would be the best option.

A Mugen hardtop would improve aero to a rear wing.

I remember watching a track test that said the S2000 was faster with the top down.

Didn't have a massive roll cage or a wing though.

I thought that the Mugen hardtop was proven to allow an extra 5-10kph to top speed?

Compared to the soft top maybe, compared to the hardtop I doubt that!
