No sadly not I'm afraid, we are in the Pro classes which ran at TRAX at Silverston yesterday. The club classes are running at Donington next weekend.
We had a mad day. It chucked it down in qualifying so on went the wet wheels for the first time in the season, CBH was crazy quick, qualifying first which was amazing considering the RWD disadvantage that others in class didnt have.
The final was even trickier. It was dry about 15 mins before the final began so on went the Dunlop DZ-03G's again.........then it started spitting again 2 mins before the final began. Stuck with them though and although it was very slippy, times did come down as the track dried. We were sadly playing a 'sandbagging' game though with the clock and the class above us due to the 3 strike rule in the series which we already had 2 of going into this round. Despite this, it didnt work with the weather, as we went to quick on the lap which the class above us all came into the pits, then on the next lap drama struck for us again......
One of the M6 stainless bolts on the fuel rail snapped, lifted the injectors, and boom, up went the race fuel.........small engine fire with minimal damage thanks to some very quick thinking competitors who stopped to help with their extinguishers.
Not all bad though........3rd place on the day, and an extended 40 point lead in the championship going into the final at Brands where a 3rd/4th place finish will see us win the class for the year.

Superb - apart from the fuel rail
Fine job by all it sounds like. At least there are some big straight bits at Silverstone which help in the wet! Was it the National?
I'm dreading using D03G in the wet as they seem to have less than ideal tread even compared to A048.
