The car looks amazing with the new wheels
Just seen the times on Facebook, well done on the second in class
Can't believe there is still such a gap between you're car and the fastest in the pro class though, I haven't seen what the spec is of Olly Clark's Scooby, but it must be huge to be 8 seconds a lap faster!

Well that was an eventful, but encouraging day.............
The day started with a few issues in warm up and practice which were easily sorted, but meant we went into the afternoons qualifying session with no lap time at all.
Qualifying came round and we brimmed the tank full of Q16 race fuel - The car is SOOOO thirsty! Needed to get some time under our belts and get a time in too.
BUT....it didnt happen. CBH thankfully did a flying 1st hot lap, before loosing the back end on the next lap -
Out came the gaffer tape, and a frantic team effort to get the car together enough to pass scrutineering and make the final....
And that we did...CBH again did a storming first out lap in the final, posting a time which was good enough for 2nd place. He pushed for 1st but with the car pieced together and the car infront leaving a trail of fluid behind it, CBH decided to bring the car home rather than push and risk more damage.
So, we ended the day with a 2nd place podium. LOTS of work now to do before the next round and some changes to make. The car is still understeering which can only really be sorted with some testing and setting changes, but most of all the bodywork needs sorting quickly now!
There might be a few parts for sale in the coming weeks to fund the work, so keep your eyes peeled........

Gutted to see the damage, I bet your heart sank when you saw it. To be fair it only looks like body damage which is a massive bonus!
What did CBH say about it?
Good effort on the temporary repair though!!!

Yes just body damage luckily. Somehow the supercharger oil cooler didnt puncture in the impact too so we were lucky there.
CBH was on a hot lap and said the back end snapped out on him, car went onto the grass and that was that, no grip and an armco was the only place it was going...
Also lucky that the carbon front splitter didnt arrive in time for Croft or that would have made the repair even more painful!
Just scouring the net for some stock of what we need but looks like it'll be a air delivery from the US the way things are going...4 weeks to get her back in one piece before the next round!

Are you going to make any adjustment to try and reduce the chance of this happening again?
Is this the second time CBH has driven the car or have you been doing testing aswell?
Shame you're going to sell the new wheels

Glad everyone is ok. Really quite interesting to see two things.
1. Lost the back end, which we all know S's are distinctly prone for.
2. That it absolutely drinks fuel.
I'm sure you'll have it back together within a couple of weeks and to be honest, a few battle scars actually make the car look a heck of a lot cooler than it being pristine.
Onwards and upwards - still a massively impressive performance for a car that's only just started competing isn't it!
