HEL Performance 2012 Time Attack Build

18x9 is all that's available from UK stock. Wanted 18x10 minimum for the rear but looking at 8-10 weeks for them and need to shed some weight before Croft TA Round 2 in May, so went for these and a new 265 rear tyre...
Gives us the immediate option to save us a good 15-20kg in the final should we need to change things round.

Very nice. Should be good for brake clearance too. Was surprised you went for 18 over 17 but after seeing the video I have little grounds to say it wasn't a good choice

May end up on 17's later in the season if we get bumped into the Pro 2WD class and have to run slicks.......
But to do it now would mean a whole new brake set up. And a load of tyres to get rid of!
In the meantime these will give us a little bit more to play with at Croft...

Q16 race fuel map done............over 500hp at the hubs now.
Torque output per wheel was so strong/high it kept shutting the dyno down at 7500rpm so dont know the true final figures at this stage, either way its going to be a handful at Croft tomorrow if its wet as predicted!!
New rear wing and front splitter havent turned up in time to be fitted for Croft, but the Rays wheels are on, along with a few other tweeks from Cadwell....
Will update tomorrow how things go.
