It's a hydraulic clutch so there won't be any cable!

I've just found this thread for you by searching...took me all of 20 seconds

Hey, I found that thread too! And if you read my post, that's what I already tried

What I'm asking is, what else can be done, as that seemingly hasn't worked!!

Try serching again - the clutch fork bearings are prone to getting crudded up; you can poke a long screwdriver in through the rubber boot hole & applying hight temp grease.

Failing that, try bleeding the bleeder; old fluid can corrode your hydraulics and loses its lubricity.

I think bleeding the system will be next, but I'd have thought it would have the opposite effect really!!

Where are the clutch fork bearings? In here somewhere?

Can anyone shed any light on these fork bearings Nick mentioned?

Mine is still quite inconsistent, getting really heavy at times!

Ta!

Where the white, high-temp grease is.

Long screwdriver through the rubber boot hole...

Thanks Nick. The rubber boot hole where the slave cylinder goes? Not quite sure how I'll get grease all the way up there!!

Take off the slave cylinder & boot, and you should be able to pop out the fork (it unclips and then rotates 90 degrees and slides out - IIRC).

There is then enough room to get some grease in there.
Nicks idea of a long screw driver is good.

Yeah, I've already had the slave cylinder and ball joint out, gonna have another go at polishing that and regreasing everything, then will change the hydraulic fluid probably get that done when it's being serviced unless its an easy DIY job?
