Heated seats

Just ordered a set myself and if they turn up in time, I'll fit them this weekend. Happy to document the fitting if needed. (Although I'm sure someone already has)

I, too, am looking for an experienced hand to fit my carbon heated seats kit. I'm near Carlisle. I'm too afraid of being left with wrinkly seat leather to try it myself. Any offers welcome.
If none, I have a boxed, unused MSH100 kit for sale!

I did mine DIY and the cable routing was harder than the seat part itself. The seats just take time and care. I ran to the fuse box so I could guarantee enough wattage.
I totally destroyed a pair of snips removing the hog rings, I gave up getting them out so snipped them and replaced with cable ties. You can pull ties much tighter also and it is far easier.
I got the carbon set but did not cut them. I folded the elements flat down the front of the seat cushion, it covers a non-seat area by a couple of inches but nothing much. While I was pretty sure I understood the guidelines for cutting correctly I did not want to risk messing it up and cutting through a no-cut section.
The other issue is the dual illumination switches if you got them, they do not work as advertised and you need to re-solder. You can pick one colour and get a fainter/brighter illumination depending on the I or II setting.
