Heated Seats
As the post says, I've searched a lot and I've got a couple of new questions.
For those who are interested and haven't searched here are a couple of good links:

I'm aware that several of you have done this mod and I'm really interested in doing it (just as summer is around the corner! )
I'm looking at buying the Waeco kit, and fitting the buttons by the cigar lighter socket as others have. My questions are...
1. What is the problem of the hog rings in the middle of the seat? Do I have to cut the heated pad a little for a ring to go through? Do I have to sacrifice some of the rings holding the leather onto the seat and risk it being loose? Or is it something else? This didn't seem clear to me.
2. Did anyone find any buttons that look a little more OEM than the ones supplied?
I hope someone can help.
Cheers.
Neil.

The truth is Mark, I'm just a tinkering . I never really felt that I needed heated seats, but the challenge of fitting them interests me.
Women passengers would probably like it as well.

I dont know why you want heated seats, they never feel cold. What you want to do is have a heated knob. That thing is damn cold when the temperature is low outside!
Also they kill your little guys

You guys who are knocking heated seats I would guess are tin-top or hard top users Soon as it gets cold you put the hard top on, heater on full and feel all smug and toasty inside your car
If it isn't raining hard my top is always down, gloves and hat on the S is my motorcycle on four wheels.
On a very cold day in winter heated seats will stop you shivering so you can enjoy the S at it's best
I am about to replace some chain-link fencing and found the fencing supplier sells hog-rings and the pliers for putting them on so I intend to buy some. You are not far from me Neil, so if when I get around to doing my seats you are welcome to borrow them
In the flesh the buttons don't look to bad so I will probably use them.
Buy it direct from Waeco UK - it's a lot cheaper
