Not really a problem for me now (got a garage) but I used to keep a J-cloth in the car for leaning out of the window and wiping the driver mirror if it was icy/dewy before I set off.

Totally. 2003 or 2004 should definitely have heated mirrors and heated front screen. Theres absolutely no reason for a car being produced in 2003/4 not to have these features?!
My 1996 escort LX had heated mirrors and front screen for godsake!!!

I thought our door mirros were heated....?
A while back somebody mentioned that they would come on when you switch on the rear window heater....
...not sure really - car is garaged

They are definately not heated, mine were not visable for ages when I got in it this morning, must remember to take something to wipe them with next time. Miss having the Jeep in this weather, electric everything and heated seats Thats about all I miss about it though.... well that and the space.
