Headunits?
I know it is here somewhere but still cannot find it .... can the wise people here point me in the right direction for the compatibility list of headunits for the S. Cheers

Must be me going crazy .. never mind!.... anyone got any suggestion for a quality tried and tested head unit which isn't going to cost the earth....?

I'm chuffed with my Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB54 ...
MP3 playback from CD and SD card, plus DAB radio of course. Here's a link to my install thread. Note you can also get an interface for the dash controls too.

I have just put a kenwood in mine, cost me about 40 quid for the wiring and went in nicely, changed the door at same time and whole thing took 30 mins. Original was probrably poorest part of the car so anything is an improvement.

I think the HU and aerial came to 300 quid in the end, and the iPod adapter was another 70 or so, but I'm having issues with the iPod adapter at the moment so wouldn't necessarily recommend that.
I've just looked on ebay and my supplier isn't selling any at the moment but I did see this which could be a good deal - 279 for the HU and the aerial:
