Default Headlights - Adjust for Europe ?

Anybody know if there is any legal requirement to adjust headlamp beams when driving in Europe, and if so what is the best way to to this on an S ?

Cheers.

IIRC the received wisdom on this is that there is no need. Halfords do these masking stickies - last one I saw told you where to put the things on the S2000.
But lots of threads on this - try a search.

I got some from Halfords, but never fitted them as I couldn't figure out where to... then I found out (when I got back) that you don't need to stick them on anyway

No need to adjust your headlights. The beam thrown out by the S' HID units is a flat plane beam - look at the beam pattern on the wall in front of your car to see what is meant.

I spent five days doing about 2000 miles all over Europe last year and didn't get any grief from oncoming drivers about my lights. The fact that I was driving on the wrong side of the road did get me some grief though... only kidding

You won't be able to do much just by sticking on bits of plastic to the headlight covers - you'd have to adjust the angle of the optics within the lens housing, and this is a dealer-only job.

one for driving down a road i wasnt ment too, one for no motorway tax and twice for speeding
They are crazy out there, when they want to pull u over they just stand in the middle of the road! and then when u dont slow down quick enough they just stand in ur lane i dont think they quite get the idea that a car needs some time to stop from 150.

No need to bother at all.
I've spent literally months and months in the last 15 years cruising through France mainly, plus Benelux and Germany.
You will never ever get involved in any discussion with the police about headlights.
As for those silly kits from Halfords, they are an unnecessary waste of money.
