Anyone can close their own threads (except guests) so its not cheating really
I'd have deleted it, not just closed it!

The S must have the biggest washer bottle known to man, either that or it creates water somehow! With my old Saab I had to refill the 4l bottle every 2-3weeks over last winter to keep the screen clear. I bought the S late last summer, it had just been serviced so probably had been filled up, and I've never touched it, despite the usual crappy weather and mucky windscreen/lights..

I don't think the S screen gets as mucky though - maybe the airflow is better - keeps the cr@p off?

Well done Tim for spotting the problem in one.
I always credit the poster with too much intellegence and was thinking disconnected pipes.
Did the same on the recent I've got fumes in the car thread. There's me going through all sorts of complicated possibilities, when a sensoble person chimes in with "have you left the oilcap off?"

I have never filled mine up since I got it last May (it was serviced in June)

I accidently hit my headlight washer button last night, first time it's been used. I was amazed at how much water came out, sprayed the whole car (and I'd just washed it ).

Ian just a heads up - if your starter button doesn't work make sure you have put the key in the ignition, and turned it.
