Isn't there a mod that prevents the headlight washers from squirting in sync with the screen washers but still allows the lights washer to work independently with the button? Basically, just breaking the tie between the two but allowing both still to work. I'm sure I've read about this as its something I've been meaning to do for a while. Mine was registered 1/9/2004 so would that be a MY04 or MY05

just take your 04 to honda and have it converted to an 05 like i did.

dont need to pull fuses or anything.

it is a safety issue on 04's so they have to do it.
Then you eliminate the problem only half of the time... you'd still be washing your bonnet when the lights are on...

I've taken the fuse out now, have lived without headlight washers on all other cars until this one so can't imagine missing them all of a sudden

Would be good to know if there is something to disconnect the working of them from the windscreen washers and just work with the button on the dash, that would be ideal

Thread revival here! I disabled my washer jets on my MY04 but now get seriously annoyed with my MY00 when I lean on the bloody button!

I've forgotten which 30amp fuse it is...one says its the ABS Module and the other says 'acc accessory' so am I correct to think it's the latter as these are the only 2 30amp fuses in the box.

Cheers,

Spykee

Don't worry, sorted it by popping the centre console out and pulling the plug from the back of it!
