Its about 4 inches long and is about 4 inches away from the NSR drop link. It connects to the chassis and the lower wishbone. There is not one on the drivers side. You need a 10mm spanner to remove it or/and a 12mm to remove the lower end of it still on its bracket (as shown) ie 2 off 12mm head bolts fasten it to the lower wishbone. Best to jack it up and remove wheel for access.
Hope you can see the split boot on each end. Mine had seized solid so gave a click/creak noise on low speed cornering mostly on right turns or reversing off drive etc. I stuffed each boot with high temp grease eg for cv joint use etc. Result is no more noise. Not sure how long it will last but I dont care,cos if it creakes again I,ll just stuff some more in.

mine had rusted and felt like it was going to brake when I lowered my car so I have left it alone. MOT guy i use is quite good about the little things like this
