Mine was not just misted it had water drips inside it! Soaked!
I had tried everything - lights on for long period, parked in sun for two days and so forth - never demisted, was very wet inside. When I took it out and blew hot air through I found a couple of sections of the weld between the clear and black plastic on the top where warm air was leaking - figured water was getting blasted into it. Either way that is well and truely sealed now.
The rubber seals on the HID and the rubber gaskets on the back were treated to a little fairy liquid which would have suppled them up a little.
Proof is in the pudding, time will tell.
