Headlamp alignment woes - advice please!!

I even get people flashing me during poor daylight driving conditions when my lights are on.
I have noticed that most of the people who flash are elderly (50+) so they may not understand about the new types of lights on modern cars.

I've only got 1 notch - I had a look last night against a wall.........I managed to resist leaping out and throwing myself into the boot tho (but only just )

I'm post how the alignment goes when I get back. I've still got the notch, but the edges are very fuzzy currently, as opposed to the sharp edge that used to be there.

FWIW I've not been flashed once since upgrading the main beams. It's very obvious now that I've dipped, which seem to make everyone happy.

Yes, hence the reason why I've changed main beam bulbs twice. They're still brighter, with no qualms about road legality now.

Work great on the A444 last night

Update:

here are the pic's of my current alignment (2 diferent exposures to show each headlamp's pattern etc.)



I think I've convinced myself they're the same as CT's and thus OK... anyone going to depress me and say otherwise

Tut-tut-tut, deary me. Well, that is going to take some sorting out - well, you would have the 2001 model in Silver wouldn't you sir, there the worst of the lot you know - we have no end of trouble with them............


......actually, they look tickey-boo to me (either that, or mine are buggered too )
