Default Head Unit

Guys I've had a search, but cannot find exactly what I am looking for.

First off, I want to change my 2009 plate S2000 Head unit. Now I've seen one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131128535634 which I know fits in the standard space. However I need all the wiring harnesses, including the one for remote control.
Now I know where to purchase, but does anyone have a link for the UK on exactly what I am needing. I have a bit of knowledge, in changing head units, but I'd prefer a simple plug and play.

Any info appreciated.

Cheers

There's a few different adapters you can get to retain the steering wheel controls. Autoleads/in car tec/Modifry and then you need the patch lead.

Someone has recommended me the in car tec stuff,it can be found here

In the next few months I hope on upgrading to the Alpine CDE 178BT and the In Car Tec adapters.

Hi mate
This is all you need.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-S200...item5658423669

Comes with the free patch lead.
Just tell them what headunit you have.

Hi I recently fitted the Alpine ide 178bt to mine using the Autoleads adaptor and alpine fly lead and that was plug and play with a few extra functions on the dash controls too.
Very pleased with it.

I fitted an Alpine unit, with the Incartec adapter and Incartec Alpine patch lead.

Plugged in and all worked fine. Still fine to this day.

I'd heard some stories about the Autoleads one being a bit of a pain to setup i.e. plugging things in the right order etc, and I decided it wasn't worth the potential extra hassle.

But I understand plenty of people have had a positive experience, so I assume it would be fine.

HTH

Just a warning - That headunit has a USB slot at the front, if you want to use the slow for a stick or cable, you wont be able to close the cover then. For not a lot more you can get head units with rear USB slots.

You can get very small usb sticks nowadays that are perfect for head units! Can't really call them sticks anymore!

Would be interesting to know if all the buttons still work in every scenario such as the mute button?
