Just the MAF sensor which needed a quick whack with the back of a screwdriver!

Some dirty Ultimate fuel the other day caused a bit of lurching but nothing else.

Not quite sure about the "run like clockwork" vote. My car has been known to "run like a devil with his ass on fire"!

You'll get the votes, just be patient

I voted major blow up, but in reality it wasn't a 'blow up' but was a major repair.

I had oil getting into my coolant - not coolant into my oil, which is usually a gasket problem - they cleaned it out initially thinking that I had poured the oil into the coolant by mistake (give me SOME credit Mr Honda!!) then it happened again so they ran some tests and couldn't find any problems at all with pressures etc in the engine.

I then drove about 4000 miles around France with no problem at all.

Then a month or two later it happened again.

Each time it happened, you would never have know unless you checked the coolant. No performance degradation, no over heating etc. If it goes unchecked and you do a long run it eventually forces oil out of the coolant tank as it expands too much and it drips out under the car - which is how I first noticed.

Anyway, they had the car if for 4 days, replaced the engine block (under warranty) - presuming it was a manufacturing imperfection - and ever since then, circa 6k miles, it has been fine.

Have had the sluggy engine sorted with the Map sensor again. Get the kangarooing which I know is air intake but we had it quite badly, most of this has been cured after we had the 54k service.

Also getting intermittent stalling after going on a long/fast journey and then dropping onto slower roads, rev's drop right down. Honda not found anything and it generally sorts itself out after a couple of days.
