Default hats n' caps

After getting extremely sunburnt yesterday, what sort of hat/cap do most of you folks wear? When driving back from work last week my passenger tried a baseball cap but found that the peak kept getting lifted up by the air stream unless he wore it backwards....which didn't look too impressive. I suppose a tight fitting cap would be OK. Anyone else have problems with caps being blown off at speed?

As da PMW I always wear a big brim pimp hat. Kinda like the uniform for me really

Seriously, a few of the guys will comment on losing the odd cap, I have yet to but I can feel it being "tweaked" by the air from time to time and usually needs constant re-adjustment.

I'd like to wear a pith helmet, but Tracey seems to think that it may be a bit O/T.

Oh, I dunno, Hoggy - it would go very well with your wildebeest stalking shorts, as modelled at the Oxford meet last year

I've got another of Roadkill's s2ki caps - if you tighten it up, it feels pretty secure and in no danger of blowing off, even at high speed.

(The downside is that if you do the hat up so tight as to mean it stays put, it tends to make your head itch. Well, it does with me, anyway. And no, it's not fleas.... )
