Default Has anyone modified a stock bonnet ?

I like the Mugen bonnet but its a bit bulgy (sp ?).

Has anyone cut holes in an original ?

I'm sure I can pick up a bonnet from a breaker...and I have a Dremel

PJL has - just look for a recent track day he has attended (or watch the Rockingham track day banner).

Should I never need to re-spray or replace my bonnet I would be tempted to have a set of louvres cut in, as per E Type Jaguar/Morgan.
Such a classic period look would suit the car.

I quite fancy this idea too.

PJL's looks good, has anyone else done anything different ?

Looks good, but "carefully painting the exposed edge with factory touch up paint" wouldn't be enough for me. I'd need a proper paint job after hacking the bonnet like this.

I wouldn't have thought you'd ever have to worry about anything like this Gary

I have a spare black bonnet, Mikey has been trying to get down a few times to collect it.
