Hardtop Weight?

Default Hardtop Weight?

Hi Folks

Purchased a hardtop for my MCB S2k, for shipping purposes im required to give its weight in kg, anyone any knowledge on this?

Depends on how your vendor packs it.
He could use a box and packaging of 20kg, or 5kg or 30kg.

It is the gross weight that is needed.



Weight of a hardtop without packaging, I would look at internet and compare Roadster against GT weights ( the only difference being the roof ).

But as per initial comment - you need the total weight.

cheers for that, the seller is going to hopefully put some bubble wrap around it, also forgot the hardtop stand was included so will have to factor that in as well.

what company are you getting to transport your hardtop ?

I may have one in a couple of days but don't want to go up to new castle

Im in Northern Ireland and the Hardtop & Stand is in Potton in Bedfordshire, im hoping a local haulage company could collect it when they are in London and driving back up to the docks but its not 100%, and i really dont fancy getting a boat from Belfast - Liverpool then driving down to Bedfordshire for it...

Makes you trip to Newcastle not seem too bad now eh?

Not quite.
The fitting kit is a couple of kilos too, and that stays on the chassis
