Default Hardtop Subwire harness

Basically I have purchased a hardtop fitting kit, in preparation of picking up hardtop at the weekend. I have however ran into trouble with the harness for the hardtop demister. The harness I have received has a 4-pin (3 wire) plug on it and the wiring harness in the car only has 3-pins so it isn't compatible. Just wanted to know if anyone was aware of where I can source an alternative I believe the part number is: 32204-S2A-305 and is for later model cars (06-09) however everywhere I have looked they are either really expensive or sold out.

Like this one from BalladeSports: https://www.balladesports.com/produc...ubwire-harness

Alternatively could someone suggest where I could purchase the 3-pin plug and I will just use that with the harness I already have as I believe this will be a better/cheaper options. The reason I ask this is because I have seen it done previously on the forum but am at a complete loss as to the part number for the 3-pin plug. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Liam

don't mean to go off topic but could you post a picture up of it and maybe how its all wired up. Going to make my own as the price of getting a harness is ludicrous!

Thanks

I thought someone did a How To DIY on this only recently - can't seem to find it though

I will try to get photos when I get round to it just going to fit everything else then worry about the harness later. Don't need to have the demister connected just would like to since it's there.

Ben is this the thread: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/936...in-conversion/

Problem is it tells you what to do however doesn't give part numbers. Might just cut both plugs off and crimp the cables together it's a lot more permanent but should work fine.

I thought I remember seeing pictures, but does look like the one I remember I think you have the right part number though - have you tried Si@Hendy to see if he can source and give you a price ?

The other bit in that article suggests that a VSS from a D or B series gearbox is the connector you're looking for one like this maybe ?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Acura-...-/261762487291

Could well be. Thanks very much for information I think for the price it's worth a punt.

I'd be inclined to try a trip to a scrappy (or a better search of the internets as I didn't really look that hard)

I appear to have the same problem as you did so I will give this DIY a go as saves having to buy anything.

Thanks
