Angry Hardtop Stand Storage Trolley for OEM and Mugen hardtop

Hello lads and gals!

I though it was a good idea to share my thoughts on this product with some useful information here, since I got this from UK.

Same review is also shared in S2000 Talk. So, here it goes below...

Since the beginning of ownership, I always had concerns regarding the hardtop storage when it is off the S2000 and I was looking for all possible solutions and alternatives.

After a lot of consideration, I decided to get a hardtop stand storage trolley, which ends up to have an excellent solid construction, both in strength as in ease of use and movement of the entire stand together with the hardtop. In addition, the stand has wheels and locking mechanism to avoid undesireable movement and also a hardtop securing strap for additional support.

It took about 15 minutes to put this thing together and it was very easy. Its pretty straight forward actually.

I have uploaded several photos since there are not enough photos online with details.

You can find it on Ebay, by searching as "HONDA S2000 CONVERTIBLE HARDTOP STAND STORAGE TROLLEY 1999 ONWARDS 050". I have ordered mine from a UK Seller, but you can find it also in US with a different brand or seller.

A fellow owner from the Greek Community has also asked me the dimensions for the stand and hardtop, therefore just for reference I am adding also those photos below.

Looks good, the OEM stand doesn't work very well with the Mugen Hardtop.

Looks pretty sturdy! I'll probably get one for my OEM, since I need to store it properly!

That's the same as the one which I bought a year ago. Mine came as a special deal with a cover for the hard top, for (from memory) about £130.

Once assembled, the stand is quite robust, and let's be honest, if it's just going to stand in the corner of a garage for most of the year, it does the job perfectly well.

I got it for £59.95. With no more than a £100 you can also get a hardtop cover.

It is actually a true heavy duty stand, it is real solid and the locking wheels makes life easier to move it around.

Seems very good. Especially at the price, considering the Screwfix DIY build cost about £40. Castor wheels def a bonus!

Yesterday night it was the first time I actually used it. Castor wheels definitely makes life easier to carry the hardtop to the car.

Oh and it was the first time I fitted the hardtop on the S, by myself. Lightweight goodies are great indeed!
