I know him - he lives near me and bought my CD changer off ebay. He's a nice guy.
The price he's quoting is actually the one I was also quoted (by the same dealer) - right up until the last time I asked a few months back, they were insisting that the cost of supplying and fitting a hardtop was in excess of

YOU`RE the DREAMER fella. I`ve had a GT - S for two years now and this is the first time I`ve heard the hardtop to be 4k!!! We`ve started a thread about this stupid auction on www.s2ki.com, come take a look.
Who`s getting suckered for 1g on a HT without a fitting kit? I pity the poor winners - infact, I`ll email them now.

Funniest thing I've heard in a while! If I really want to get at one with those I go out on my horse, not in my S! Though I'm not sure you could strictly call a horse's emissions clean.
