2nd year running I haven't bothered with the tin top....
Have had some pleasant trips bundled up, heater on and roof down

You really need a stand or the bag you can mount on the wall thingy. Just leaning it up against a wall is too risky and will subject the ht to undue stresses and point loading.


It's easy enough to make your own stand if you're a bit handy, instructions are on here somewhere, just do a search.


Anyway, back on topic: My HT never went on this winter, for the first time in 5 years, just couldn't be bothered given the much reduced mileage (20k pa down to 2k). Lovely crisp sunny days lately though, ideal for top down

I took mine off this morning and drove to my folks place with the hood down through a sunny central London. It's moments like these that make me realise why I love this car to bits

Just went for a quick peds around Sandbanks with the top down, lovely. Bring on the hot weather.

i'm waiting til march got the izzy hardtop brackets on mine so it aint a 5 min job gettin mine off. would have it off today if was! only downside to these brackets i say.

I have just washed and polished my HT .... so it is going to be staying on the car for a few more weeks.

Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, just nipped out to run the car into the sun to heat the seats before I go out and she won't start, battery just about charged enough to light the dash, plugged in the charger and having a coffee now, it's only been a fortnight since I was out although it's been cold at night, will do a drop test to make sure I don't need a new one after we've been for a run(delayed now though).
