Hardtop fitting kit removal
Is this an easy job for a layman?
Is there any dummies guides out there on how to do this? I have searched and found guides on how to fit a new hard-top, and photographs of exactly comprises the fitting kit, - but I haven't found a guide on how to simply remove the fitting kit as yet?
Thank-you for any help.

Hi PJD,
I fitted my hardtop (this was a MY01 mind) and recall that the process was quite straight forward; the only fiddly bit was correctly setting the hardtop clearance. It would be a straightforward process to follow the install instructions in reverse to strip out the kit but that does rather assume you have the original components (striker plates above the windscreen, trim panels etc.) to reinstate once the hardtop specific parts have been removed.

Pm me as I have the fitting instructions for the hardtop fitting kit that I could email you. It is an easy job to fit the side catchers. The bolts that hold the catchers are slightly longer than the bolts on the roadster.
