Hard top wind noise

I get this noise too, the windows can be adjusted i think but wont that affect the soft top seal?
Fit an invidia then you wont notice after a while as you'll be deaf hth

There are shims under the front catches (i.e. the bits on the hard top rather than the windscreen frame).
As standard there are three shims each side - each is about 1mm thick. These allow you to adjust how much the top compresses the seal. Watch out fo door glass clearance though.
I found that no amount of adjusting the rear catches (using the 5 bolts) made any difference to the front edge position or sealing - and I spent ages tryng.
Finally, wear in the front catches and strikers may also be a factor especially if it rattles - I had to replace both catches and strikers on mine. The conical boss on the catches wears allowing the whole top to move.

PS The catches are hard to remove because they are use thread lock. I replaced the original fasteners with SS button head screws. If you wreak the HT threads they can be repaired using rivnuts - I had to do this because a previous owner had ruined mine and incorrectly fitted a rivnut. I can help with this if any one needs it.
PPS I found slotting the catches, to make them 'adjustable' a total waste of time - my issue was their wear.
